Nutritional Medicine

Nutritional Medicine and its philosophies is a holistic, comprehensive and individualised approach to healthcare. Your emotions, environment, thoughts, diet, movement, stress and more all play a part in your levels of health and happiness.

Iridology & Physical examination

Our body tells a story in symptoms, pains etc. and it’s up to us to listen and discover what our body wants us to know. Through markings in our eyes to the position of acne on our skin, we can use these “signs” to tell us what parts of our body needs more nurturing.

Health Management

General health solutions including digestive health and support, mental health issues (anxiety and depression), skin conditions and autoimmune conditions. Together we can find solutions to improve your health and get you feeling better with more energy and vitality.

Helping You Find Success With Nutritional Health.

Feel Like It’s Time to Make a Change in Your Life, But Can’t Seem to Find a Way?

I am a proud member of the Complementary Medicine Association (CMA2610), which requires continuing professional education to ensure the most up to date scientific research is implemented in clinical practice.  This means I’m able to efficiently guide you towards the right changes you need to make towards a healthier functioning body and lifestyle.

Nutritional Medicine

Its philosophies are a holistic, comprehensive and individualised approach to healthcare. It considers all aspects of a person’s life, including the spiritual, emotional, physical and social whilst ensuring your body is receiving the nutrition it needs to thrive.

Analysis of nutrient levels and absorption, overall organ health and detoxification is the primary aim to getting your body back into balance. Getting you feeling great again is my absolute focus.

Iridology and physical examinations

I use iridology and physical examinations as storytelling and information gathering. Our body tells a story in symptoms, pains etc. and it’s up to us to listen and discover what our body wants us to know. Through markings in our eyes to the position of acne on our skin, we can use these “signs” to tell us what parts of our body needs more nurturing.

Health Management

Nutritional medicine can help with many complaints, including:

  • Digestive health and support
  • Mental health issues including anxiety, and depression
  • Skin conditions and complaints
  • Autoimmune conditions
  • Sleep and stress management
  • Immune health
  • Improving or maintaining your general health

How does it work?

Initial Consultation - ( 1.5 hours )

Where we get to know each other and I take a comprehensive record of everything I need to know about you and your health.

As nutritional medicine is holistic in nature, all things contributing to your state of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health is considered relevant.

What to bring:

  • Pathology and other test results (if you have any).
  • A list or photos of all of your supplements and medications you are taking. This ensures safety and effectiveness of therapeutic supplements if required.
  • Filled-out health form if you’ve printed it out.

Once we have gathered everything I need to dive into your health puzzle and what your goals are, I will send you away with a 5-7 day food diary for you to fill out and email to me once completed.

Initial Findings Report - ( 45 min / 1 hour )

Your second consultation will be where I provide you a report of all my findings. Based on all of the information we gathered in the first consultation.

I will discuss with you where I think your symptoms may be coming from, what simple nutritional changes will make the greatest impact, as well as my recommendations of any lifestyle changes to implement to support you on your journey.

Any supplements I feel will be of benefit to you will also be reported, as well as any recommended tests.

All of this will be discussed and explained clearly so you feel supported, empowered and excited to take your next steps.

This report will be typed up for you and will include:

  • Recipe suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks (a full detailed weekly meal plan can be provided at an extra cost) and any micro or macronutrients you need to focus on.
  • Iridology findings
  • Recommended supplements
  • Lifestyle/exercise recommendation
  • Details/referrals for any recommended tests
  • Research to support my recommendations

Implementing Changes

Together we will take small steps towards your goals. I want you to feel comfortable and excited about your changes and I know if we do too much at first, you will feel overwhelmed and find it hard to continue. Some health conditions have taken years to manifest themselves so treating them with a natural approach is not a quick fix. Slowly and safely is the way.

Rinse and repeat.

I continue this journey with you until you have achieved your goals. Keeping me informed of your challenges and struggles, together we tweak and incorporate solutions and continue to work towards a healthier and better you.

1. How often do I need an appointment?

After your initial and second consultation, a follow-up appointment within a month is recommended in order to review your progress, answer any questions that you may have & keep you motivated.

However, we’re flexible to your needs and it really depends on you.

Some people prefer to attend on a fortnightly basis, while others would rather an appointment every 6 weeks or so, or you may simply want some basic information which can be obtained in a total of one or two sessions.

The choice is yours.

2. When are you available?

I am available at varied times throughout the week and some weekends. If you need a particular time, I am always open to accommodate. I do have every second Saturday and occasional Sundays open for appointments by previous arrangement. Just get in touch and we will work out a time that suits both of us.

3. Can I claim a rebate with my private health fund?

Due to COVID-19 crisis, all consultations must be held online. Unfortunately this means no health fund rebates.

4. Can you order blood and other functional tests?

Yes. I can order most blood tests and other functional tests and will if necessary.

However, these tests will be at a cost to you as Medicare will not cover them. Bulk billing of some tests is possible at your GP’s discretion.  I only order further testing if it is absolutely necessary.

5. Where are you located?

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all appointments are online only via Zoom.
